Traci Mongeon
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
I take great pride in the area in which I live. When tragedy hits an area or family, the outpouring of giving and sharing is pure selflessness. My children have learned compassion, sharing, and giving as a result of the generous nature of their fellow Mississippians.
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
My hero is Faytonia. She does not let age or circumstances get in the way of living life. Taking teens to the capitol, or taking a computer course is nothing at over 80 years! I plan to not realize my age, but live an active life just as she does.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
My most prized possessions are the cards and pictures made by my family. These pictures, given to me with pride by the little hands of my son and daughter, are precious because they are from their hearts. My husband and I even enjoy making cards for each other.
4.What is the most random fact you know?
As a 4-H Youth Agent who develops youth, I am accustomed to the name of “Mrs. 4-H”. As I continue to do more on safety and injury prevention, my son informs me some children call me “The Safety Lady”. That is a nickname I will gladly take!
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
During spring in Mississippi, everything comes alive with color, inviting you to get outdoors with your family. Wonderful times are enjoyed at nearby lakes, nature trails, or just in the yard. I treasure the flowers my children pick for me, and enjoy the roses my husband cuts from our yard.
