Alexis Spadaro - 3rd Runner-Up
1.If you were famous what would your stage name be?
I grew up in Syracuse, NY. There’s so much character throughout Syracuse that tells a story of beauty, vibrancy, and dedication. We’re mostly known for the different state parks that show their beauty during the seasons. They are wonderful places to take your family throughout the year to appreciate the scenery and spend quality time with loved ones. And one of them would make a great photo shoot location for Mrs. International 2024!
2.If you would attend a celebrity wedding which, would it be?
Thinking about my three closets, one important piece I have is my mama sweatshirt. It’s green to represent the color of Muscular Dystrophy Awareness and it says Mama, with my boys’ names on it to always keep me grounded and at home. The second piece that’s so important is my special teaching shirt because it reminds me of the impact I have on little minds and my passion for showing my students their true potential.
3.What is the weirdest gift you’ve ever received?
I’m not a very good cook, but I love to bake! My mom and I bake shortbread cookies with intricate designs. They are homemade and we use a 3D printer to make our own cutters! I love to bake these because each year during Christmas time my entire family gets together for one day to bake the shortbread cookies, pack them, and hand them out to family and friends. Our record is baking 188 dozen!
4.What is the most random fact you know?
I would spend my extra hour scrapbooking. Throughout the year I go to retreats with my aunt to just focus on scrapbooking. However, that time is never enough because I have three albums that I’m scrapbooking. In each scrapbook, I use my Cricut machine to design specialized pages with intricate details, along with journaling. I love scrapbooking because it’s a way for me to freeze time and remember all of the special moments in life.
5.What is the one thing you’ll never do again?
The dirtiest job I have is cleaning my boys’ toys for Spring. I have arachnophobia and there are a plethora of spiders in the garage just waiting to come out! Having to wipe things down and get the webs o makes me cringe! I dread the day when it’s time to put on my boots and gloves to get rid of the spiders and grime. It’s worth it though when I see my boys smile!
